Something other than the tire is wrong if you are tearing up tires in 15K miles. Even a different set will have similar symptoms if you don't find the root of the problem.
I used to put the BFG's on all my rigs (see signature) so I am pretty familiar with them. I honestly believe they were the best on the planet until about 3-4 years ago, I got a set of 35" and 3 of them had a run-out over the acceptable limit so they replaced them and I never could keep them balanced and the tire place told me they have had numerous problems keeping them balanced on other trucks. After 6 months and 7 new tires I had them replace them with the Toyo's and WOW what a difference. I don't think I will put new tires on my truck without at least considering them also.....
I'm w/ Enomra here. I've got 315/75R16 Toyo M/T's, and after having these, I'll never own another tire on a my SD. They are all that. I've got over 10,000 on them and they hardly look worn. BTW, I've rotated them twice.

since i live in the tundra of the north i think I am going to try to go with Kumhos road venture MT KL71 only reason is the toyos do noe preform very well on the snow and we have snow 7 months out of the year and i am with you on the 5,00 mile rotations there has been a real slip in bfg's quality

I'm just curious, where are you getting the info that the Toyo's don't perform well in the snow?? We didn't have alot of snow this year, but what we got, I rolled right thru like it wasn't even there. We got one really good storm, late in the season, that was 6" of snow along w/ about 4" of ice and I went like hell thru all of it. No squirmy feeling, no questionable traction, just digging in and cruising.
I'd question anyone that says these things don't perform in the snow. Are you sure you were researchig the M/T's and not the A/T's? The A/T's look like glorified street tires.
Their is a user on here, Sockeye Sam or something like that, has a set of M/T's on his new 08 and he's in Alaska.
Also I've heard good things about the Kumho's too, so I'd be curious if you go that route, what your impression is of those.

Good Luck whatever you do....
I read reviews on tirerackand a couple other sites and while most of the reviews were really good about the toyos the only thing that people did say they didn't like about them is snow driving ( an average snow storm for us is 10-20 inches) but i will have to look up they guy you are talking about to figure out what he says, I just read the kuhmos do not wear well so now i am digging further into it
I have the 35x12.5r20 Toyo Open Country Mt's on my truck and I though they did very well in the snow over the winter. We don't get quite as much snow as you do up there, but we did have a few 6-12" storms here in Peoria this past winter. They weren't the greatest on ice, but weren't terrible either. But in snow or slush they did great.
