I have a 97 F250 HD and recently put it in 4wd to get out of a ditch. Ever since the truck is acting like it is stuck in 4WD. I checked the hubs and they are not locked in, I also put it in and out of 4wd a few times to see if I could get it to stop. I notice a skipping the most when I'm turning hard right or left or in reverse turning hard right or left. I recently serviced the transfer case, front and rear diffs. At this point it seems that I am hearing noises from both the front and rear end. Anybody have any thoughts/suggestions?
i dont know nothing about the new trucks, but ive heard that if you put it in 4 hi, with the hubs locked and then go in reverse and switch it to 2 hi going about 5 mph, and then get out and unlock the hubs, it will work, atleast thats what ive heard the chevy's guys did when they had problems w/ their trucks
too much of the additive would cause your LS to not work as well, possibly not at all. There's a thin line you have to find between comfort and functionality with it.
