My friend at Fort Gordon has a problem with his B2300. I am posting for him since he is kind of indisposed. He keeps getting a check engine light while driving. When we pull the codes, we keep getting something different every time. KOEO is always 111, except one time got 652 MLUS circuit failure. Not sure how that is possible since its a standard transmission. KOER test usually gives nothing except one time it gave 172 O2 too lean.
The truck runs like crap, and it started intermittently over the last month or so. He replaced the coil packs and it seemed to be fine for awhile but now its back. Checked the TPS and IAC and they seem fine. Also, the RPMS seem a little low some times at around 500 RPMs. The truck has problems accelerating at certain points and a tap of the throttle will usually fix it.
Well. O2 lean code..... Is exaust lean ore reach? Do U feel gas smell in exaust, black smoke.... May be mixture is reach but o2 sensor reads lean so replace o2 sensor..... but if mixture is really lean (no CO in emission, but CxHx and NOx), backfire, binging, rought idle, check fuel pressure, check injectors.
