Definitely get the minimum three gauges -- I went with the DiPricols from ITP with a four-gauge pillar mount. ITP is also a site sponser, and I love how well they match the look of the stock cluster:

I have yet to add the forth, but it will be there shortly. The tranny "gauge" on the dash is worthless. Ford hosed us by making most of the gauges just a a three range indicator (low, mid-scale, and YOU'RE SCREWED!!). Basically, slightly more fancy idiot lights.

I've had the time for a few more mods, but you're right there on the same path as me -- get ready to hang on to your britches when you put in the DP!!! Which tunes did you get??

Joe
I was looking at that guage set from ITP i think im going with them, they look really nice in your truck. Didnt know they match up so perfect to the factory dash Lighting! On the DP tuner i chose the 60 tow, 80econo, then the crazy 140extreme lol. its mostly a daily driver but when ever some one on the street messes with me ill just flip the switch and go at it lol.. I own a 20ft center console boat so thats why i got the tow tune. For the bulbs, its not just the bulbs, It's a Hid kit. Basically it comes with 2amps 2bulbs, and the wiring but its direct bolt on just gotta find a place to mount the amps close by the bulb housing. The bulbs are 10000k, usually the higher K the lighting is the lower the light will be on the road and they turn from yellow, white, blue, purple, to pink.. so yellow would be 3000kelvan i believe, white is 5000k, blue is from 6000k-10000k.. i had 12000k on my old daily driver and they were blue with a little purple in them. Btw the kit ran $135 shipped!

Okay, sorry to hijack, but which kit did you use? There's no application guide I can find, and there are a pile of different kits. They all come with the different color bulbs -- just need to find the one for our trucks...

BTW, I think I'll go with the 8000s -- I like the blue look, but a bit less is enough for me...

Hey, that's a great idea. My XLT doesn't have the stock fogs, so I've been thinking of adding them. This would be a bad-@$$ way to really set it apart...

Thanks for the heads-up on these! When I get the kit in, I'll post a new thread with some before & after shots...
