and i dont know if its a exhaust leak or maybe the turbo leakin the boost out of something sounds like a hole in a tire hissing noise when driving it it seriously seems at times the thing does not have a turbo and it also seems slower then when i got the truck back and ive been runniin aditvies everytank!

Any exhaust leak will steal a lot of HP from a turbo. Do some searching with a mirror for the backsides of the exhaust in the turbo in/out area. Also look at the area of engine intake from turbo.

For the fuel screw, tightening will increase and loosening will decrease. The allen size is 5/32, or close. Im pretty sure its 5/32 though.

Sounds like you don't need to turn the fuel up yet, with those 1100 EGT temps. What you need to do is find out what else is wrong first. I would be suprised to see that high with stock fueling, if nothing else was wrong.

I agree with the previous posts, sounds like you are not building the boost pressure like you should.

I would look around those areas with a mirror and see if any blackening from exhaust leaking. This is where you'll loose the most in power.

well i had a problem on my leaking y pipe that went in the the up pipe to feed the turbo. i took the y pipe out. measured the opening it was 2 1/2 inches took the y pipe ground down the brunt up flange. took a piece of 2 1/2 exhaust pipe. and pressed it on the y pipe and then ground it down flush with the casting onthe y pipe too a file cleaned it up and then reinstalled it. it had a real good tight fit. and the leaking stopped there.

Word to the wise when towing. Never tow anything except a small trailer in overdrive. The transmission just can't handle it. Even if you have trick the trans out unless it has been purpose built by a shop that knows what they are doing and it has been set up with the right convertor and external cooler.
