keyless entry??
Keyless entry was available in 95 but you might not have the receiving module for the key fob (meaning the original owner opted not to get keyless). I believe you can tell if you have keyless entry if there is a blinking THEFT light on your cluster when you lock your doors. I wouldn't know much about it, I don't have it
But I installed my own aftermarket one and it was very easy. Let me know if you need help.

Do this, the first 5 steps to reprogram the remotes, and if the locks cycle (lock & unlock) then you DO have what it takes for remote control door locks. If nothing happens ..... polish up your key.
1. Ensure the vehicle is electronically unlocked.
2. Put the key in the ignition.
3. Turn the key from the 2 (LOCK) position to 3 (OFF).
4. Cycle eight times rapidly (within 10 seconds) between the 3 (OFF)
position and 4 (ON). Note: The eighth turn must end in the 4 (ON) position.
5. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming
mode has been activated.

The Ford Tech attempted the above technique first, to no avail. Then checked the manual. There is a module underneath your steering column that needs to be jumped with the key turned to on for pre 1996 f150 keyless entry systems. When the module is jumped (paperclip works fine) the power locks will cycle. There are a few down there, be careful. When the correct module is found, hit the lock and unlock buttons on the keys (with the ignition still on).
If your locks cycle, you've done it correctly and your keyless entry system works.
The keyless entry replacement cost me $48 (mine was shot after 13 years and a drop in the river), and the service department set it up for no charge.
Good luck!

i'm a little confused. jumping this module under the steering column will tell me if the truck was optioned with keyless entry?? or is that just for programming the fob??

You will still have to buy the fob if you don't already have one.
Good luck
crawled out from my BMW hole...
I do not recall which module was used to jump. It did take 3 different techs to fail.... before an old fogey veteran came out from underneath some powerstroke to teach the youngin's how to program the key FOB in the old EEC IV trucks.
I would attempt to try the FOB method outlined before. The key cycle method.
If you follow that one to the letter without results, head to the dealer and play dumb. Only after, you're sure that method does NOT work... do you head to the dealer.
If their techs start attempting the key reprogramming by cycling the ignition, find the old grumpy guy in the shop and start making fun of the guys playing with your truck. See if the old crafty vet is up to the challenge. I'm sure he'd love to "learn them punks" a lesson.
