Banks Trans Command or Chip Trans Enhancements ?

I presently have a V-10 with a Banks Trans Command. I plan to add headers, air intake mods, catback exhaust, and chip (probably Diablo).
If I were to pull my trans command, will the transmission programing in the chip duplicate what the Trans Command is doing now, or would I be better off to keep the Trans Command and have the chips transmission programing deleted?
Would deleting the shifting programing from the chip be considered a custom program change requiring the extra charge for the chip?
I'm thinking of Borla headers and Y pipe, Gibson 3 inch single exhaust exit catback, and some of my own Ford air box mods with a K&N filter. Will I need to have a custom modfication change on the chip with these mods anyway? If I accomplish the same thing with the chip as the trans command, I will have the Trans Command up for sale. I do want to be sure I'm going to get similar shifting improvements. I am very happy with the trans command performance.
Any expertise appreciated. Especially from Ken.

The chip pretty does the same as the trans-command (increase line pressure) plus the chip removes the timing retard. You'll get a very hard shift with the two combined. We can code a chip without the tranny modifications.

No. Only changes that directly effect the engine such as a cam, Supercharger, headers, etc.

You'll get the firmess plus the added benefit of a quicker shift due to the timing retard being removed.

Sorry for the delay... playing catch-up.

Ken,

I'm putting Borla Headers on. So does that mean the answer is yes regarding special programing?
