74 4X4 ignition switch pigtail help

My 74 4X4 had been stolen, so all the wiring leading into the ignition switch was hacked. I picked up a new lock cylinder, ignition switch and pigtail, but my problem is all the wires on the pigtail are black. The only wiring diagram I have been able to find doesnt match the color combinations of what's in the truck. The wires I have exposed now are black/green, yellow, blue/red, red/green, red/green and purple/green. Any suggestions?

I don't know if this will help or not.

The book goes from Pre-74 to 75-77

There were 3 different ignition switches used from 1973 - 1979.
Take a picture of the one used or take the ignition swith off your truck to match up.

hey i had the same problem it sucks truct me not to get you down. what i did was draw a little map of how each slot is alligned and what color it is and take that to a pick-a-part yard (junk yard) and find that switch and cut it off with some wire cutters toss it in your pocket and head home and figure out what goes where. doubt i am the only one to take something from a junk yard....huh
