I am in the middle of restoring my 66 and have a question about the wires on the back of the ignition switch. There are 5 wires colors being, Yellow which I believe is power, red/green stripe, red/blue stripe, white/ blue, and black/green. If I could have help identifying what these wires go to such as ignition, acc, etc. I have a universal harness from ez wiring that has some terrible wiring diagrams that dont seem to be right. Any and all help would be great, thanks.
I used a wiring diagram from a bronco to do a lot of mine. I found a lot of its wiring was similar and I think the same color. I did a search and found a couple of diagrams.
they are here, hope this helps. I won't swear its the same wiring but the diagrams did help me to solve my issues. http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/fil...1966-67_01.gif
I think what is screwing me up is that someone previous to me installed an electonic ignition and im lost with the wires from that to the ignition switch. I think i need to just sit down and really look at stuff for a while.
