This can be very frustrating especially at such a happy occasion!
My jeep does that from time to time. Sounds retarded but all I do is swear alot, and jiggle the key and the steering wheel. About two seconds before I get readdy to put my fist through the winshield, it turns.
I sent it up to roblin to the ford dealer to fix it...128 for the part and prolly 1.5 hrs to install. The for sale sign goes on it when it comes back I am done with it....thats it. Any one know where I can get a used Toyota or Nissan?
Who ever heard of an ignition switch failing? What if it was -40 with my new son in the car? Sorry guys I love fords but I think I will stick to the pre 68 mercs and f100s. At least I can fix them on the side of the road.
Well good used toyotas and nissans are plentifull, that is the good news. That sucks that it was the ignition switch failing. On the other hand it is fixed and SHOULD work well now.
