if anyone is looking for a good deal, buy your exhaust from a company called RPMOutlet.com i just bought a 4" dual exhaust, turbo back with 5" stainless tips for $370.
smokin deal and thay have alot of other things for cheap aswell as performance packages
i had the straight pipe on the stock exhaust and it was ok but the 4" dropped my egt's by almost 200 degrees and it sounds way better.
and no i had to pay shipping but its not much when shipped in the us, mine was more cuz i had it shipped to canada.
4" turbo-back & mandrel bends makes a pretty big difference over stock, even when straight-piped. Stock system is not mandrel bent, so there is some extra restriction in there.
I spent an extra $100 and got Stainless for longevity & looks (my MBRP system was $490, shipped to my door with a nice tip). I would've recommended stainless in Canada.
Now this brings up the real problem....4" or 5" I know that 4" would be more than enough for what i need. But there is just somthing about having a sewer pipe under your truck that makes me giggle lol.
well lots of guys love the sound of the 5" which i would too but i like the look of the duals and the dual 4" sounds a little deeper than the single 4"
if you go on the MBRP web site, they have sound clips of the dual and single and if u find a posting from quickordead off of this site he has a page with sound clips of his 5"
so would that make his louder? how much does where it exit change the sound?
Because there are two extra major bends in the pipe when going out behind the wheel -- I'm not making the claim, Kwik does. BTW, he does have a muffler inline, it's not straight piped. I prefer the sound of the one I have. I listened to as many clips as I could find, and the clips on guzzle's page sold me:
Where in canada did you have it shipped too, and how much was the shipping?
And was that 370 bucks canadian or US?
Just think preppy, maybe in a couple of weeks our dollar will be par and then let the modding begin eh. I got a long list of things to buy just waiting for some spare cash.
