I think "Cali" means California version. Different emissions standards and all that makes for some different/additional parts on PSDs there. Which is odd because Cali doesn't require diesels to be smog tested. Maybe I'm wrong. I was one other time.
Thx :-P, hey, when you coming back up to the gem state? Should do lunch...

Hard to say. The project here should be done next month but I could be immediately sent to Texas, Arizona, San Diego, Seattle, Colorado or Alaska. I hope I get a couple weeks at home. Unless they want me in Alaska. Home can wait if I get to go back up there. Where do you live? Was it Nampa or am I thinking of somebody else? Meridian's where I'm at when I'm there.

Boise, near Overland and 5 Mile...

Sounds like you have a very interesting job... That is a heck of a lot of traveling...

I grew up at 5 Mile and Amity.
Yep, it's interesting. Almost always on the road. That's where the money is.

I would imagine with a reading of 80 psi you should be OK. That is probably the max peak with the spikes. Just my opinion.

I did the FPR shim today and cleaned the screen. MAN...what a difference.

She was running at 40 psi before and is now at 70 psi. The wife and I took a drive (with my dog) through town and on the interstate. Soooooo much better throttle response now. Seems like the engine idles smoother and is a bit quieter, too.

I let my wife drive on the way back home. She noticed a BIG difference in the throttle response, too.

You're a brave man or just plain crazy. A lot of guys have made that same mistake and then she wanted to take it all the time. Soon you'll be going to work in the Honda and she'll be tooling around in your rig with bumper stickers that say" Silly Boy, trucks are for Girls".LOL
