I cant see any soot on the up pipes and no oil around boots and clamps are tight. I wonder if I adjust the wastegate rod shorter that would help.I tried moving it by hand but couldnt.

Well this is what goes on mine. My gauge has to hit about 27 psi before the CEL light kicks in on mine. If the CEL comes on at 24 psi then there is a 3 psi difference and either my gauge is off or the MAP is off. I haven't really got on it in the 80E tune, but it does smoke some and it is normal. I'd definately take the regulator out and see what number you are running then.
