This question may have been asked before, but could not find in a search.
I have a 2006 with just under 30k on it and just finished with oil change and starting to notice an oil smell in the cab and looked under the truck to day and found oil drops on the oilpan bolts! Has anyone seen or heard of this? Should I worry and take truck in? The truck is stock! Thanks for all replys! Still have the 06 grin

Lots of things can leak oil, but because you said you just change your oil & filter. I bet you have an oil leak at the filter housing. Check for cracked/loose cap. Did you use a factory OEM Racor filter or did you use a "will fit" (ie wix, purlator, NAPA).
Almost all oil leaks will end up running onto the oil pan/bell housing.

Hope this helps
Well not my first oil change/rodeo. The cap was torqued to 18 ft lbs and as far as filter I use the one form International/Navstar. I love the John Wayne quote!

I am not saying this was your first oil change, just know that those caps crack from time to time, so it is easiest to check the simple things first.
As far as leaks go. it can be several things: Could be an ICP sensor, CAC tubes, Glow Plug Harness, Cam or Crank position sensor, Oil line to turbo, other sensors, front or rear cover, oil filter cap. Almost all oil leaks end up on the oil pan/bell housing. Without putting dye in the oil and driving the truck for awhile it will be difficult for the tech to locate the leak.
Most common leaks in descending order of occurrance are CAC tubes, ICO Sensor, Glow Plug Harness, Cam or Crank Position sensor.
