Anyone else concern

I purchased my 03 new and I have kept it stock with the excpetion of re-directing the PCV.
I have had the Turbo replaced due to sticking vanes, and the IC replaced due to a hairline crack at the seams, which was all covered under warranty.
I use to drive the truck everyday, but since I was laid off from work I only drive it 2-3 times a week.
I have 56k trouble free miles, with the exception of blown IC hoses that was caused by the sticking vane issue.
With the 5/100 warranty expiring in May of next year should I have concerns with head gaskets, EGR valves, etc., etc. that I should have FMC address before the warranty expires? The truck is running fine, but with these documented failures should I press my ford dealer to make these repairs?

there not gonna replace the parts because of past problems...if ur not having a problem now then they will not touch it..you can have them do a good look over before the warranty expires but for my dealer i asked the same and it was IMO a joke i dont even think they looked at it....I have sincere hate for my dealership because they are not willing to help me and can never fix my truck unless there is a bright red arrow pointing at the problem.

I know what you mean. I've always hated having to take mine in for the required Kalefornea smog recalls, which to my surprised is how they discoverd the sticking turbo and IC problem.
Before that the only difference that I could detect was a low frequency hum at ~1800 RPM, which was corrected by replacing the IC.

My pessimist side is listening to Murphy too much lately, so I may just try the "I have a problem" approach and let them have a run through the latest diagnostics to see if they find anything.

How goes the job-search? I'm sorry that I was unable to get you any leads
I have some of the same concerns that you're having... At times I wonder if I should be driving it like I stole it just to bring-on the failures while it's still under warranty. I know, it's bad thinking, but it has crossed my mind. I have a big fear that everything is going to break at 101K miles, or shortly thereafter...

While I'm not searching for work, which has been a tough battle to change careers at this point in time in my life, I've been keeping myself busy with small projects that I've put on the shelf for sometime.

I'll be satisfied if I can get another 5 years out of my PSD, which is why I made the initial investment when I made my purchase. I've gone through two Chevy's that each have only lasted about 75k miles.
