DP Tunner install ?

DP Tunner install ?
I have the tuner out on the table and when I look at the PMC code it was different than I rembered. So I looked at what I gave Jodi and it was different The code I gave him was the on form the picture of what code to give them.Ya I know I can be stupid
Jodi had me give him my vin # and he went from there. said I could have a newer PMC that had been flashed to for my 99.5
He used my vin # not the code I gave him off the PMC
My question is with him using the vin # to give me the correct program and now I know I have the correct PMC not one out of a newer truck that has been reflashed should I have any problems going ahead and putting the chip in?
Or should I wait untill I get a call back from Jodi and make sure everything is ok with him

You will probably get an answer today if you call, but if you gave Jody your VIN the chip is flashed for the PCM that should be the OEM for the truck.
What PCM code is in your truck now and what did he flash the chip for?

NVK3 is the code in my truck
He used my vin# to flash the chip
I gave him VDH4 when I called and that is when he had me get the vin# and used it not the code I gave him
I called and left a message
I am cleaning the pmc now hard for me to tell if I have it cleaned enough but I think I am there

I've been told that if Ford re-flashes a PCM to update it, they're supposed to put a new sticker on it with the new updated code. That's also the way Jody did it when he re-flashed my spare PCM. That's not to say some previous owner might've flashed it with a tuner, then the PCM probably has to be tested to make sure what you've got, and re-flashed to put it back to stock.
