The bolt pattern changed in 99 with the introduction of the Superduties. It's currently 8 x 170mm. The older trucks are 8 x 6.5.
Also the offset changed in 05, so even though the newer rims can bolt up to a 99-04 Superduty, they will cause tire rub issues. Wheels from a 99 and up will not fit any year prior to 99.
How about this question, I need to sell some rims off of a 99superduty and 2005dually. Where is the proper section for that and are there any fees? please point me in the right direction!
Pocket, also in 2005 they changed the bolt pattern on the 250s and 350s. They are 8x200, not 8x170. You can't put a 05 or newer wheel on a 99-04 truck.
To sell stuff, look at the very top of this page, in the silver toolbar going across. Fourth from the right is Classifeds. Click on that and youre on your way.

You might want to check again. It's still 8x170 in '05 and up models. There are folks who have bolted up a wheel from a newer Superduty onto a 99-04 model, but had major issues with the tires rubbing up against the leafs. Some have used wheel spacers to correct the issue, but spacers on these trucks are definately not recommended, especially if you tow.
Someone posted a pic once with 20's from an '05 that he installed on an '02 or '03 model. I'll be buggered if I can find it now, but it looked goofy with the wheels tucked in so far under the wheelwell.
Has anyone ever seen a "Supersingle" wheel and tire on one of our duallys? I have seen them on big rigs as a substitue for the duals but was wondering of anyone has tried it on a superduty?
I seen it on a modified cummins with some slicks on the back, looked really nice. But the truck was also lowered, shaved handles, and had twin turbos. It was a nice truck, i loved the SRW under the dually fenders.
