Not hardly. Your best bet for cheap power is replacing your restrictive exhaust, including the converter. The EFI intake flows well enough. Some people mod the air box for better flow, but the factory filter is more than adequate for these low-RPM tractor motors.
Well...other things can be done for a few hundred, but they're not simple anymore.
On an EFI motor, most anything else you're going to do will require an adjustable fuel pressure regulator & larger OEM-style (14lb or 19lb) injectors. The OBD1 computer can't compensate for airflow mods, so you have to install a regulator you can play with. Then you can go to the highly highly Crane 260 dual pattern cam- $140 or so, and a new set of lifters. For a poor mans cam, get the larger ratio (1.6 or 1.7) BBC Chevy rockers and just bolt 'em on for more lift. That's $30 plus gaskets (but don't combine with the cam!).
