The Boost Gauge Don`t Go Over 27-28 Psi Of Boost. I Changed The Hose Before When This Happed To Me It Popped Off Couple Time With In A Couple Mile... And It Was Fine For About A Year. Now It Popped Of 2 Times Last Night On Me...
When I had my 03 dealer changed turbo on it thats when it started blowing off, about a 1/2 dozen times, went to another dealer and they cleaned it and put back on, OK after that, but the mechanic told me it was on backwards, they will go on either way but only 1 way right.
I was on the freeway and all of a sudden the intercooler hose popped off right at the turbo any clue on what would do this.
2004 FORD F250 XLS 6.0 Diesel
Thanks Nick
Check the tech folder in 6.0. There's a TSB on that hose and clamps. Mine did the same thing last summer. The replacement parts are under your diesel warranty. The hose with the orange liner won't come off.
that what was on backwards? I think your turbo vanes are stickin like Blackhat said

Just to set it straight, blue hose from turbo was backwards, it will go on 2 ways, right way and wrong way, the other mechanic had it on wrong. As far as vanes sticking, why didn't it blow off after it was changed and why did this happen after the turbo was changed. This was on an early 03. that Ford bought back after 2 years of nothing but grief.
