you could put in a cam,install carb and intake ,headers dual exshaust ect. but a 302 is just to small for a truck to perform well.i spose if just cruzzin is all ya did with it would be ok.there just not realy a work/performance engine for a truck.trust me i have one and its a complete dog in my 92. id look into an upgrade mabe 351 or so depending on what your doin with it
