hard start after running

95 f350 7.3 ihave replaced the fuel pump and filter new glo plugs the truck is new to me it has 2 hunderd plus . the day i brought it home had to use ether to make her run. got it home shut it off and tryed a restart and would not start. the hpop either works or it dosent so i dont know where to go next . ps no codes

Disable the GP's when using any starting fluids. Do not use either, WD40 is a little bit easier on the engine.

Does it start OK cold? If so, you may need IPR o-rings. Look here:

Fresh diesel rated oil & a new filter will do amazing things to these engines.
Have you checked the oil level in the HPOP?

It should no less than 1 inch from the top.

Ok just to clarify, after the engine is warm is when it doesn't start right? Does it start fine when the engine is cold? If it doesn't start hot but does cold then you probably need Injector pressure Regulator (IPR) o-rings. you can buy a kit from ford to replace the o-rings. what happens is the o-rings get worn. the cold oil can fill the gap and build enough pressure to start the engine but the hot oil is too thin to fill the gap and won't build enough pressure.
