5.0 roller rockers

Maybe this is a dumb question, but is it neccessary to get taller valve covers when installing roller rockers, on a 5.0?

nope not on the stock pedstal mount .they should be fine. what year is it??

Sometimes. The filler hole baffle is what usually contacts the rockers. With pedestal rockers you can dimple this baffle to clear the rocker sometimes.

Its a 1988. If it's questionable that the stock ones won't work, is there an aftermarket valve cover that will clear for sure?

i went to roller rockers in my 91 302 with no problem .i used the proform roller rockers everything went fine . if you want the web site and the part number that i used let me know .
