here is my problem. i just got done driving about 60 miles (st. pete fl. to sarasota fl.) doing about 75-80 mph on the highway. I get off the highway and start driving in town i almost get home and i push my gas peddle to pass someone and nothing, it drops into the lower gear like its going to pass but it would not rev. over 2200rpms i limp the last mile to the house. I then try to see how high I could get it to rev in park but again the highest is 2200 rpms. I have no mods other than a drop in K&N filter. Also the truck looks like it is blowing a blueish smoke out when I rev. it. I filled up right before I left (st. pete). It drove fine this morning when i went to st. pete. please help i need the truck for work. oh and there is no dummy lights coming on.

IF you got a bad batch of fuel the filter could be plugged. That's where I'd start looking.
Also your fuel pump is inside the frame rail right under the drivers seat. Turn the key to run (but don't start it) and stick your head down there and make sure you can hear the pump running......It will cut off after 20 seconds.
Idk if a clogged EBP tube would do that, idont even have a tube for that since the hpop install when i bent it like a pretzel. Sounds like a fuel delivery problem, and with blue smoke, something with oil is involved.
Scratch that. A bad batch of fuel is somethin I dont see on my side of the mountain very often. My apologies to those that expierence this more often then I do.
well if the bearings were bad in the turbo it is going to leak oil right in to the exhaust and possibly restrict the exhaust so blue smoke and bad turbo yes.
You might re-consider your choice of air filters when you get your new turbo, too. I've seen several dusted turbos with the K&N (both drop-in and conical).
The NAPA 6637 air filter is one of the best setups out there.
It will breath better than a K&N plus it will filter out all the dust, not just the chunks.

my bearing were loose enough that wheel rubbed,no smoke, could be wrong
ok new update. one of the bolts holting the turbine compresser on back out and wedged up against the wheel preventing it from moving. i am ordering a rebuild kit. for and also i have heard about the dusting of the motors. from another site and I already put a stocker back in there. at least until i can save the pennies for a air intake. thanks
6637 is only ~$40 and is usually free to install. Since you have an early 99, you'll have to buy some clamps and procure some type of adapter to fit the filter. Some here have done it with PVC, but I don't know exactly which pieces you might need. It's pretty easy, though...
