Well the plastic piece for the throttle cable on top of the throttle body broke. I have rigged it to work for now. The question is, what is that other cable it pulls when the gas pedal is close to all the way down?
I had to adjust the throttle cable and I was wondering if I would have to do the same to this other cable. Its not the cruise control cable either.
you did not say what kind of truck, engine, transmission etc. but it could be the cable for the transmission kick down.
it is very dangerous to drive with cobled throttle linkage I would get it fix right as soon as you can. it could work fine for a while and you forget all about it and some day when you have your family riding with you it will stick and you all die
