90EB Bronco Questions

I have a 90 eb bronco. When going over anykind of bumps, i notice a really annoying pinging noise coming from the *** end. I crawled under there and tweeked a few thing (exhaust, ect.)i thought may have been causeing it, but nothing took care of it. As time went on, i noticed the ride has gotten harder. I have 32" 10.5 tires on there now, but those are comming off really soon and i'm putting oem's back on. So i know the tires have something to do with the ride, but when grabbing the shocks themselves and moving them, there seems to be some play in them so i believe they need to be replaced. I bought the vehicle used so i don't know when they were replaced last. My questions are #1.........what may the pinging noise be.......broken shocks??? and #2...What shocks would you recommend for this particular vehicle. I don't do any off roading so that isn't a factor. I spent a lot of money putting new fancy shocks in my 84 BB to increase the stability of the ride it gave, and i though it got worse, I don't wanna make that mistake twice. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

90EB Bronco Questions

Correction, i wrote the wrong size, my sires are actually 32x11.5 . Also today while pulling into my garage, i put the truck in drive and just idled along into the garage, when applying the brakes and comming to a stop, i noticed as the chasis of the truck comes forward then back (natural action when slowing to a stop) i heard a squealing sound, like opening an old door....i checked the body mounts(something i had to replace in my 84) and they are fine....again , shocks?

90EB Bronco Questions

I had the same problen on a ranger time ago, and all i nead to fix it was to replace the shock busings (the ones on the top of the shock) cause the ruber was to corroded, so i replace'm with poly ones, to check if your shocks still good, step on your back bumper and make the truck to move up and down, then jump off the bumper, and the truck have to stop moving, if it keep moving , then your shocks are not good.
hope this helps
