302 Operating Temperature

Quick question for the gurus about 302 operating temperature.
I just finished the rebuild/reinstall on the 302 in my 53 F100, it is a 68 block with 70 heads .030 flat top pistons, stock cam and lifters, I have installed 3.8 Taurus electric fan and I am using a 195 thermostat....question is what temp do I want the fan switch to close at???? I am thinking on at 230 or so and off at 220. But that is just a guess........... anyone know the correct numbers??
Thanks.

The fans on my 89 Ranger come on at 210 and off at 180.

Thanks guys..... I was a little off I guess
Anyone know of a switch that uses these temps? I have a couple left from my "Fiero days" but they are higher settings than the 180-210 range.
I saw a fancy controller setup with a switch stuck in the rad fins....... but I kind of like the OEM style with a switch in the intake in the coolant flow.

I got the switch for mine thru Summit Racing, it's a Painless Wiring kit. Sensor is in the coolant on the intake. Works far better than the type I had before that had a sensor in the radiator fins.

220=on, 200=off. It won't get below about 192 with a 195 thermostat so anything lower, then it will never go off once it comes on.

Thanks guys. I do not need the wiring kit I built my own, just need the right temp sensor..... I think I remember one that runs 200-220 on an online Fiero site guess I will order it.
