New plugs, new wires, and a new cap and rotor

...haha j/k. I guess just change out all the fluids, new air and fuel filter. If you have not done the CCV mod yet, do that and clean the IC boots.

lol... That's messed up John!! Don't forget to adjust the points!!!

There's really not a whole lot to it, Sheldon! I just keep my fluids clean & fresh, keep the engine & filters clean, and that's really it! I don't consider any of these a "tune up" really, just standard periodic maintenance.

For a 100K "tune up"
What John Said +

1. New Radiator Hoses (get the around the belt - dual alt version)
2. New Serp Belt.
3. Coolant flush and fill
4. Add Coolant Filter (if not present)
5. Differential drrain and fill (if it has not been done at regular intervals)
6 Tranny Flush and fill (if it has not been done at regular intervals)
7. Tranny filter if it appears a little dirty
8. Clean Exhaust backpressure sensor and tube if not allready done.

Wow I never though it would be that easy to maintain! I was sure there was going to be something I didnt know about!

And john, you got me good man! I just woke up and before I head out I was going to check this, read the first part of your answer, half sleepy! I thought to myself, look at this guy, telling me to get new plugs lol.

Thanks for the info

I did the above at 100k & 200K except #1, #4, #7 (not an issue on the 6-speed), & #8. I've only had to change a CPS at 155k & 2 headlight bulbs in 220k.

A better choice would be to use either rotella ELC or wally mart final charge, which supposedly doesnt need anything until 300K then you treat it and it goes until 600K.

I can only find the 50/50 pre-mix Final Charge at Wallyworld. Does anyone know how many gals to purchase? I would guess 6-8. At 10 bucks a gal, I don't want to buy more than I need. Thanks
