PMS struck again

Hey guys i just got off the phone w/ Diane from DP tuner and order a chip for my early 1999 F350. Well i order a chip as followed
No Start, Hi Idle, 80 Eco, 80 Tow, 120, Smoke.
I must say it was a very easy order and Diane was great to talk to. I really can't wait to see what this chip will do, and reading on here what everyone has stated it sounds like iam in for a ride.LOL
I did order the BTS valve body for my 6k miles old ford reman trans and a 6 Liter cooler as well to keep my trans from a early death. I told Diane about the BTS valve body and Brain told me to tell them to set it up for a 80hp tune for his valve body. I have all other supporting mods (except for a HPOP) and Diane told me the 120 and smoke tune may not work to well w/ my stock HPOP. Well see what happeneds and thanks for reading about my PMS problems.LOL

You will love the tunes. The 80 econ is really great. The Smoke is sweet too but watch the EGT's.

Yup -- I can't say enough for them. I just ordered mine last week and I think we were on the phone for at least 30 mins. It's great to do business with someone that actually cares that their customers get what they need.

You guys know how to really pump me up! LOL

What is the power like down low? will it burn the tires up if you just mash the gas pedal? Or do you have to "bring it up on the brake" and build boost? Oh yeah i have a dually so i have 4 tires to spin not just 2..LOL

You will have to bring it up on the breaks. I have however gotten a little bark or two out of just hammering it. I have also broke loss shifting between 1st and 2nd a few times. You are about to fall in love with you truck all over again. Congrads

I see you have a SRW truck, so iam sure my DRW truck will probley not bark between shifts. Iam fine with what ever it does, i was just wondering. My buddy had a 2003 F350 DRW CC w/ 6 liter and we put in the edge w/ juice and from a stand still he would bring it up on the break a bit and when he launch it it would burn the tires from 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd. This truck also had a sneaker wheel lift under it (used for repoing and was unnoticable except for the L arms) which we had to resupport the frame frails w/ 1/4 plate from the frt to back. The extra weight made the 4x4 dually look like a 2wd truck. Any way enought talk about his 6leaker. I'll post up when i get the chip and install it..

Hey forget about the talk on your post, iam not sure where i read the talk about biger trans pan vs. larger cooler. I thought it was the one i posted (good laugh about AAMCO) but it wasn't that one. Do a search and see what you can come up with, but i do remeber reading its better to have a larger cooler then trans pan. good luck and it would cool if my truck will burn the DRW's if i just puch it..LOL
Erik

I remember the day that I installed my DI chip and intake. I took it for that first ride and was like

Get ready to have fun.

Iam sure i'll be thrilled untill i get a SES light due to HPOP issues.LOL
Looks like the next mod will be a HPOP and then turbo since my turbo is allready at about 26lbs w/ just exhaust, AFE stg2 intake, and edge EZ (will remove once DP tuner is installed!).
