84 Steering Gear

I'm about to change the steering gear on my '84,
blew the sector arm seal on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere, just before dark. Anyway, anybody got any tips on this job

yo chuck, see Nate's question on same problem....
here is some of it for you:
you need pitman arm seperator tool and a tie rod end remover (borrow or rent them) to remove the gear box plus a socket set, torque wrench, a Chilton's or Haynes manual; plugs for the lines...and a pan for the fluid....
bronco needs to be raised for this, both wheels need to be safely raised and bronco nees to be placed on sturdy jackstands; and rear wheels firmly chocked...you can do it!....be safe though!
good luck,
al
