92 3.0 tranny question

92 3.0 tranny question

I have just done the rear springs and shocks-what a nightmare, but done. Now it is time to get to the tranny. Seems it takes a while for the trans to get into gear when the truck is cold for a long time, like over night. I will start with a flush, but I am thinking bad valve body or transmission pump. What do you guys think?

start with gentle flush
let us know what you find in pan

how many miles on ATF?

when you have the pan off you may want to check or replace the boost sleve on the valve body.. .. .. . .. replacement is 35 bucks ... boost sleve pic.. ..
