Hi I was just wondering what everyone has done to there tranny if there running 100+ hp chips in there truck. right now I have a 02 f-250 with banks exhuast air intake and a diablo sport chip at 80hp with stock tranny. I was thinking about getting a bigger chip but do you think that will smoke a stock tranny??

I would at least install a good replacement valve body or modify yours with a Transgo kit.
I have increased the clutch count in all forward clutch packs, modified the pump and valve bodies, and installed a billet input shaft and triple disc torque converter. I did this because of a bearing failure in the trans and not becuase of the chip. I felt that I needed to beef up the trans, while I was in there, for later mods. Plus, I tow a large fifth wheel camper at times.
P.S. Welcome to FTE.

I actually put the DP chip in my truck to make the transmission work better
I only have the 40 hp tow and 80 hp economy, some have said the 80E will produce 100 HP,but I have no idea
will it smoke the trans? i hope not
