yep, there's nothing like it. we made our own sausage last year, but i don't know if i've ever had home made jerky. i'll have to bring some bambi to ya this fall, and some elk/moose if i'm so lucky. Do you have one recipe for everything, Chris?? or do you have different ones??
i usually buy kits for different flavors butthere are tons on the inter web for recipes and such. Id really like to try deer and moose, never had yet buffalo too.when i get back from up north im planning on making a pile of it over a weekend. It only takes 6 hours in my dehydrator
I just got off of the phone with my dad, and yeah he says it isnt legal for someone to sell wild meat. But he said that you can give away as much of it as you want. So you can strike a deal with someone that they give you a bunch of meat and you can give them something in return, as a gift
