I have a 2002 F-250 super cab with power windows and my head hurts. Its my pasenger side window thats causing me trouble. i can get the window down but not back up. From the drivers side control panel, when i push the up button for the passenger side, the light on the button on the passenger side goes out but the window does not move. If i push the down button on the drivers side control panel for the passenger window, nothing happens.
From the passenger side control panel, if i push the up button, the light on the button on that side goes out but the window does not move. If i push the down button the window goes down.
Im not too sure where to start with this problem but i did check the fuses just to make sure and they were ok. Anyone with advise or even a wiring diagram would be great!
It's time for new switches....Ford makes lousy window and door lock switches...Pretty easy to change and not too expensive. Buy 'em thru your regular dealer or order 'em from one of our sponsers....
At one time someone here did a backyard fix to the window motors or something. It was a cool way to fix your window motors if bad and you only had time involved. You may want to search.
Got it fixed up... i played around with it and a multi meter and in the end figured out there is a common wire between the drivers side and passenger side switches and that wire was broken on the drivers side in the connection tube! 3 hours later
