cps ?
thanx for the input on the cps have not tried it yet I just want to make sure I'm looking at the same thing 10 O'clock on the dampner correct? a few people on this site said 15\20$ from ford the dealears around here ford is quoting 150.00 and the parts house is 180.00 just want to make sure im looking at the same part . If anybody has a cheaper source please let me know.

Ask for part number F7TZ-12K073-B. It's the new cps and it is about $25-$35 from a dealer and $13ish from places like www.fordparts.com, if you can wait a few days for it. It seems that dealers are trying to get rid of the older more expensive version before they tell you about the new one. Distribution has just recently begun for the new one as well so maybe they don't even have it yet. Once you have one in hand you'll be able to recognize it on the front of the block. Easiest to get at from underneath IMO.
