Gentlemen-
I noticed that there is a new update for the edge. Has anyone updated to this newest version from a later version? How has the performance changed? I like mine now, is the new one better? Should I update it?

 

I updated mine about a week ago and if it is the same update as you are talking about then I did not see any difference really. It is most like some fixes for the 2007 trucks that they have had some problems with but I always update to the newest releashed version(I never use the BETA versions).

 

When I talked to edge they said the updates are to fix problems (like the problem with the 07 F150) not to increase performance. They said "if the truck is running good you don't need to update".

 

Is there a new one out? The last one I updated to was about 2 weeks ago. Ver 22, cal 27 I believe.

 

I am leaving my Edge alone, I figure if it is working and not giving me any trouble I'm not going to mess with it.
I had to put it back to the stock tune this week, was running tune #2 Towing mode, because I have to get my truck inspected next month, right now I am getting the code P1000 because of the change and the computer has to relearn, hopefully it will be cleared by the time June 1 st comes.
