351w you will need a different exhaust y-pipe, and you have to make sure you get a engine with a rear sump, or get a 351w rear sump pan from the junkyard.
A 302 will bolt in, but it needs to have the dipstick hole in the rear of the block, to go along with the rear sump pan. The older bronco rear sump pans had the dipstick in the pan, but I don't know if any of the later 302 rear sump pans had the dipstick in the pan. Any of the 80's up 302's will usually work out of a car or truck because some of the cars had a dual sump pan, and they had the dipstick in the rear of the block. You could then just use the rear sump pan off the 255.
