Hello I am new to the site and find alot of good info here.
I just bought a 2003 f350 4x4 drw psd with 35" tires on it 2 weeks ago.
it has an afe stage 2 intake and 4" turbo back exhaust.
I wanted to calibrate the speedo so I bought the new flashpaq by superchips.
it was fine for about two days and now the transmission is acting like it is low on fluid. It has zero symptoms while it is cold.
after it warms up it shifts very sluggish and when you stop at a light and go to take off again it slams into gear as if it was low on fluid.
the trans was rebuilt 15,000 miles ago and the fluid is full and clean.
this just happend all of the sudden driving home from work.
no flashing o/d light to give me a clue or anything.
I really dont trust any shops around here (clearwater FL.) to work on my truck.
Does any body have any experiance with something like this.
any help would greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I called BTS today and left a message for Brian.
Maybe he will call me tomorrow.
Suncoast converters is about 450 miles away from me. does any body know of a good tranny shop closer to the bay area?

Why? Any shop that does transmissions can R&R a trans. BTS will send the trans to a location of your choosing in a trans case. You take the old out and install the new. Drain the old of fluids and put it in case and drop it off at Fedex Ground.
I talked to Brian @ BTS .
he told me to change the filter and call him back.
he said it sounds like it is starving for fluid.
I will try that and post the results.
