It doesn`t help with a hammer/rock thru the window trick....
No matter what you do if a thief wants your vehicle it`s gone even with the Club/alarm/ect, the safest way is to drive beaters left unlocked without even a radio.
The clubs don't stop them. The steering wheels today are made of cast aluminum. Soft metal to cut through reall quick. Slide the club out through the cut and away they go driving with an intact wheel sorta. It not damaged enough to not drive away with.
true enough, but as most crimes are of opportunity, a little deterrand may work sometimes, but if someone really wants in...you're right, not much will stop them
Best not to make it too easy, luckily I`m in a fairly safe area, so far no problems.
It`s Saskatoon that could be a minor problem when I`m parked there.
yeah, same here...its not bad here in the suburb, but in town it could be. i know a guy had his d-bike stolen from his truck last summer. brand new, not a ride on it, broad daylight on the vic square parking lot. now that'd make ya puke!!
i think it just locks the steering wheel from making anymore than a 1/8th-1/4 turn, making the vehicle impossible to drive. there are also ones that clamp to your gas pedal and steering wheel so the go pad can't be pushed.
yes, but something even smaller and easy to conceal. a cordless dremel too with a cut-off wheel. very effective and quiet, and it'll fit in the pocket of your jeans. sad eh??
