I take it you actually mean CPS (Cam Position Sensor). Here's are article describing replacement.

I think most Ford dealerships call it the CMP ... CPS seems to be more descriptive to me.
I believe the dealers like CMP because they like to refer to it as the Camshaft Money Pit. $$$$$
Ford sure put a kabosh on that one.
