emissions?

i have a 85 stock 351w 2bbl, i want to change over to a 4bbl carb and manifold. What if all of the emission stuff can i take off? The truck has an EGR type with air pump? all kinds of hoses and wires not for sure what is what? Can anyone help?

It depends on what state you live in, maybe even what county as well.
