You need to take a test light and see if you have power to the small wire ( 90 degree molded terminal) at the starter solenoid when the key is in start position. If not the problem is most likely a bad netural start switch located on the transmission shift lever shaft. Usually 4 wires, 2 for backup lights, 2 for netural start. Red/blue I think.
