Oh, sorry. I just did mine this morning. Damn easy. I drilled and tapped the drivers side exhaust manifold from underneath. It was so much easier than I had invisioned. I just posted a long post about my recent guage installation.
I also noticed you have a 3" downpipe and 4" stacks, just exactly what I want to do next. Let me know what your boost and pyro numbers are. Do you have a muffler? How does it sound? You have turn outs, or flappers, or mitter cuts? Any Pictures?
About the gauges, how would you tie them into the lights so that they would appear at night? If I have to, I might splice into the dimmer wire for my radio since it doesn't get used (lights in the radio run off the illumination wire only). It would work but I fear that it would be too much of a power draw and blow a fuse...Any thoughts?
Dave,
I just tapped into my ash tray light. I think any dimmer circuit wire will do. They draw next to nothing. I will soon find out, though. I have added 6 lamps to the factory dimmer ciruit.
well i just took some pictures my truck is dirty but yeah?? how do i p ut the pictures on here it sounds alright i just wished the exhaust sounded more liek a powerstroke but i have a exhaust leak and we cant fix it cuz i guess theres no gaskets for where its leaking thats what my mechinic tells me but sounds alright
