boost gauge

hey everyone, i'm workin on putting all my new gauges in my truck and the only one i'm confused about is the boost gauge... so what am i supposed to do with it? lol thanks for any/all help!!

I'll assume you're wondering where tubing gets attached under the hood? Depending on what brand and/or who you got your kit from it may or may not have what you need. Mine didn't. Made one. It's the tee fitting in the top left corner of this pic. Got the parts at my local Ace Hardware. Cut the tube to the MAP sensor and plug it in.

thanks, my gauge came with the kit that i need i was just wondering where i put everything, i'll go take a look at my truck right now and let you know if i have any more questions!!

ok i was looking around and is there like an actual hose that runs along in the engine compartment?? cause i can't seem to find one and i have no idea where the MAP sensor is...

The MAP sensor is on the firewall on the passenger side. There is a rubber hose running from there to the engine. That is the hose that needs the T put into it.

ok i just looked, is it like a pretty decent size large black hose going towards it?? coming from that upside down Y with the 2 orange boot thingys on it by the fuel filter??

cool thanks, i put it in but didn't get to wire yet since i still gotta finish putting my downpipe in and do the EGT/trans temp gauges... that old downpipe was ANNOYING to get out....
