I ordered a DP Tuner today along with a SS HPX, in tank/pre pump with filter and boost annihilator all from ITP.
I also need to address my surge issues and was thinking of ordering a Turbonetics turbo but may go with the ATS housing instead($$$). The only reason I wouldn't get the Turbonetics is if I order a different converter instead.
With all the tranny talk going on lately, I feel the need to do something to hopefully help it live longer. I will be ordering up a BTS VB early next week as well. I'm also thinking of a different torque converter http://www.puredieselpower.com/catal...ter-p-250.html
Will these 2 mods to the tranny help it live longer with the extra power? I have 123,000 on the trans now and the fluid has been changed every 30,000 by the PO.
If I had an automatic tranny I'd probably do the housing instead of the turbo and upgrade the tranny. Save the big turbo money for when you upgrade the injectors.
Did you tell Jody that you were getting the VB from BTS. If not, I recomment that do. He will program the chip to work with the VB. I will make you truck shift and run a lot better.

This is very likely what I will do. I've been thinking it over all day and instead of spending all the money I have on the turbo, I'll get a new converter instead(unless it won't help) and just order an ATS housing for the turbo. I may need a new compressor wheel too, I'll take a picture tomorrow and post it up for all to see.

I ordered the DP through ITP and I let Dennis know that I will be ordering a BTS VB as well. Thanks for the tip though.
Save your money and cancel the HPX. You won't need it. The BTS Big Oil system will take care of it. That is why I am doing the Big Oil setup. Have to call BTS tomorrow for the paperwork to get it sent to me with the Regulated Return Line setup.

Dennis has the programming for the BTS VB to burn on the chip. He's in good hands.

I'd love to order the big oil now, but I'm soon to be out of $$$$. I'll have to start saving again after this round of PMS is over.

Thanks Diane, I talked with Dennis yesterday evening(he called back after business hours even) and got everything squared away there. I also called Brian at BTS and have the VB on it's way.

That was why I didn't want to get the HPX back then. Now I have to wait for Brian to get a last few fittings. Was hoping it wold be in today but I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow.
