does anyone have a rough estimate how much a c6 transmission weighs?

 

never had one on a scale, but I seem to recal a dry weight of 175 lbs. without a converter. The converter weighs about 37lbs. So the trans with converter should be just over 200 lbs.
Wore one on my chest once, not fun, seemed like it weighed more than that, (while I was under it), but those figures sound right.

 

that is a lot lighter than i thought and probably can buy a cheap trans jack

 

Yeah the C6 isn't too bad, me and my buddy lifted one without too much effort. The E4OD however, thats one heavy....
