1994 E150 4.9 e4od, With yellow and white wire (pulse voltage ?) unhooked the van will shift ok,only shifts real hard. Checking voltage on both sides, wire cut, I read a varying voltage 0-12 volts from PCM and battery voltage on the solenoid side, this can't be correct. Harness checks OK, solenoid pack has been replaced, same symptom. If you connect the wire back together the vehicle bucks and jumps when you road test it and when it's idling it misses like it has an ignition problem. unhook the wire it runs great.
