Hey, Vermont is snow country and I plow snow with my 78 Bronco with Trailering package. The front springs were suffering from plow weight and age so I installed some new variable rate coil springs which hold everything up very nice. They actually still give a very decent ride too.
Well... I keep having problems with the rear leaf springs and have replaced a few pieces over time. Sad to say but the rear springs are shot. I understand that pick-up truck springs will fit and are much more durable. I am considering springs with a load rating of 2450 lbs (which are designed for a F-250). Has anyone else gone this route? I do haul allot of things and tow a large travel trailer.
