Damn skippy,, plus most of the dudes I hang out with only drink PBR and High life... Hell If I show up at my buddies Rod shop, it's a requirement to bring a 12 of high life. lol
Recently, it's been Leinenkugels Creamy Dark Before that, I would dring Michelob Golden Draft Light(and still do on occasion) I may have to try some New Castle now that a lot of people have said they like it.
I just tried a new one (to me) yesterday. McEwan's Scotch Ale. It was pretty good. I'd say it was a touch on the sweet/syrupy side for me, but I still liked it. And at 8% AC, I liked it for a while after working on my buddy's truck out in the sun...
Some of you guys need to get out more and try some REAL beer...
I've tried 2 new beers this week too. They both were Dogfish Head, one was 90 minute IPA (9% AC) and the other was Punkin Ale (7%AC)...They were a little pricey ($12.00 for a 4 pack), but they were both very good.
Spaten Optimator- Should be called Obliterator, have tried it twice and end up with a weird nasty hangover. My favorite brewery (even tho its very commercial now) is definitely Mendocino Brewing. Red Tail Ale, Hawk Lager?, Blue Heron, etc, all some kind of big bird names. Great taste, good aftereffects, not much hangover. Even have some available in grocery stores. Best place to get any beer from anywhere-Total Wine and Beverage. For general fluid replacement, good ole Buzzweiser.
Long Trail Ale, Long Trail Hibernator, Switchback, Magic Hat Humble Patience, Magic Hat Jeezum Jim, Dogfish Head Chicory Stout, Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre, Smutty Nose Old Dog Brown Ale, Smutty Nose Smoked Porter, Trout River Chocolate Oatmeal Stout, Youngs Double Chocolate Stout, Sam Adams Boston, Guinness.
And, since you got through 6, we can assume it's tasty? We've got a liquor store here that has about 6+ times the beer section size (and probably 12x as many options) of a grocery store. Always hard to decide what to try.
