All good ideas

Let's take our time and see what we get together. Now that we know there's interest, we can do this.

We can arrange something in the south and north too. I quit my job so I'm just looking for a reason to do something

I'm close to Asheville so that'll suit me like a MF

As for campers. I dont' have one myself but I was going to bring the dogs as I have nowhere to leave them and I was going to stay at some motel that allows dogs. I can arrange this myself and when we stop to sleep, I'll drive off to the motel.

The idea of some factory tour is great and if we ever go up NORTH to see the other guys, maybe we can arrange a trip to Ford and see if we can talk to some X guru up there. That would be neat.

Personally I'm up for anything except possibly for group sex. I'm guessing yall are too friggin' ugly

Seriously though, I am interested in pretty much everything.

I saw this thing on TV some time ago about some huge barbecue get together in Texas. Something like that would be sweet too. After all, there IS a reason i weigh 300LBS

Depends on what we do and how long this takes, we could arrange for stuff along the way.

I was also thinking of finding some printer that could make us stickers or graphics for the trucks that we can put on our trucks to let people know what the deal is.
That would be cool.

Anyway, we're close to 40 people now

George

Alright boys, the map's updated
http://www.************.com/excursion/xmap.jpg

Maybe if we can get enough people from the south we can get the boys up north to meet us halfway

Shiit! I should have stayed in Europe, this country's too damn big

Mind you, gas back home is little over $6 a gallon

Although I'm from Idaho the X and myself are in Wisco for a job which is why I thought Chicago sounded good. Mark me down for Marinette, WI temporarily.

Diver in the water. What do you do for a living?

I've got you in WI for now. If that changes, let me know. Not sure when we'll do this. Hopefully not until fall so we have time to organize it.
Map's updated at http://www.************.com/excursion/xmap.jpg

Ford plant tours are good. I went with a 54,55,56 Crown Vic group a few years back it was a good time. great hotel, and the folks from Ford were nice. As far as grouping the folks from WI could hook up in Chi town and rumble down the road to the meet. As for travel trailer if the Ex goes the trailer can tooo. As my son calls it "the black pea and the white cinder block going down the road".

That factory tour reminds me of the Honda Homecoming. Each year Honda hosts a factory bash for Honda motorcycles. Thousands come. It is great!.

Wouldn't it be great if Ford did that for their trucks at the kentucky plant?

I do too. Would be cool as hell driving past all the itty bitty Suburbans on the highway and to think I once wanted a Suburban. I am soo ashamed

Where the hell are all the CO folks? I drive down the road and see many every day. Sheeesh.

Anyway, looks like around Indiana is the populated center, although KC, MO looks to be a geographical center. The left coast folks could jump on I-80 where I could join them. Looks like we're building steam............woooowhooooo

BTW, I also flirted with the Burb idea. Thanks to my bro, who works for a Ford reman distributor, I was turned on to the X. OMG, I was a lifetime Cheby guy (still have a couple, don't tell) but I love this X, 143,00 miles, will run her till she drops, then rebuild it.

My X is a camper, toss the stuff out of the back, fold the 2nd seats down, an air matress fits perfectly in there, great for a quick weekend at the lake. Yea baby...
