well i know there has been lots of threads about headers and such..and i have read i think most of them...but i still got questions.
well i have a 1997 F150 Ext Cab. 4x4..4.6L...that has the infamous Manifold leak(cracked in one place and stud bolt missing in another)
so pretty much i am wondering if it is worth it to install headers....over stock manifolds...is performance increase that much? to justify the insaneley high cost of headers?
also i am looking for the cheapest headers that still add slight performance....do i need to go ceramic coated?...can i get the ceramic coateing done elsewhere if i buy high temp paint ones?...when its coated is that inside and out?...i also heard headers burn up faster than manifolds...is this true?
i already have dual exhuast installed on my truck with Retapped O2 sensors and the coverters cut out...so should i go with shortys? or no?
also where is the cheapest place to buy headers?(i am in Canada...but i buy off the net lots)....
pretty much i want someone to show me the best bang for the buck header....and one thats going to last...long time.
